Environmental policies and certifications

MADIC Italia pledges to protect the health and safety of the environment, of employees, customers and final users. To this end all products are designed and manufactured in full compliance with RoHS provisions (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
The RoHS directive established by the EU RoHS law and implemented by decree Law 151 of 25-07-2005, restricts the use of specific hazardous substances in the manufacture of electrical and electronic devices. These devices may contain only the agreed amount of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium and Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) which are flame retardants. The purpose of the RoHS directive is to reduce problems associated with the disposal of materials which may pose a threat to health and the environment.

MADIC Italia is proud to say that because its products are RoHS compliant it holds the status of “Friend of the Earth” in the world community.
MADIC Italia also underlines that its products are CE labelled because their meet the required product specifications. The CE label indicates conformity of a product with the applicable community rules required of manufacturers.
